Regulatory Rules and ApprovalsOur attorneys regularly advise clients in dealing with governmental entities, including the Texas Lottery Commission, and on regulatory issues that affect their business interests. We also routinely participate in negotiating and drafting legislation. Our practice also extends to preparing clients for appearances before legislative and regulatory groups; cultivating bipartisan relationships with federal, state, and local officials; and identifying, screening, and coordinating lobbyists and their efforts on behalf of clients.
Dispute Resolution/Commercial LitigationThe firm's commercial litigation group represents gaming businesses in litigation in both the Texas and federal courts. Specifically, the litigation group prosecutes and defends a variety of commercial causes of action ranging from breach of contract and breach of warranty to deceptive trade practices.
